Lobos destory Cougars, 68-0
November 18th, 2006
Lobo Air made an arrival Saturday, just in time for the holidays, and the 2006 Longview football team's playoff season.

It's not that the Lobos haven't had success throwing the ball this season, but the passing game, and many other things, went very well in Longview's 68-0 thrashing of Dallas Bryan Adams in a Class 5A, Division II bi-district playoff before 5,000 spectators..Read More.

Lobos complete the three-peat
November 3rd, 2006
There's something about Longview quarterback D'Marcus Miles and Mesquite Memorial Stadium. Miles has a knack for making big plays there, and the latest has brought a district title home for Longview.

The latest big play by Miles was a 59-yard touchdown run on an option run. It came with 1:53 left and helped give Longview a 21-17 win over Mesquite on Friday before 4,000 spectators at Mesquite Memorial Stadium. The win clinches..Read More.

Lobos one win away with 28-21 win
October 27th, 2006

Picking the Picks..Longview wins 24-10
October 20th, 2006
Sherman Rosborough wears jersey number two for Longview's football team, but the number that described Rosborough best on Friday was four. A fantastic four for the Lobos, because that's how many interceptions he had.

Rosborough's third interception and 29-yard return helped set up a 1-yard touchdown plunge by Jazmon Moon with 1:50 left, icing a 24-10 win over Tyler Lee before 8,500 spectators at Trinity Mother...Read More.

October 5th, 2006
Lufkin's football team is ranked No. 3 in the nation by the National Prep Football Poll. Ironically, Lufkin was about three plays better than Longview on Thursday.
