1923 to 1932 - District 6-B Teammates
1924 - The game was hyped as one biggest in Longview history and at the end of the day Longview saw their hopes for a District Championship fall with a loss to Gilmer 14-7. Until a week later, when UIL director at the time, Koy B. Henderson, awarded the game to Longview. The reason was not stated at the time research was done for the game but we are trying to figure out as fast as possible why. The only possible reason at the moment we can guess why the game was awarded to Longview by a 1-0 score was that an ineligible player played for Gilmer throughout the game and didn't admit to it until the following week.
