In the coming weeks, LongviewLoboFootball.com will be getting you ready for the 2008 football season.

The Longview Lobos open the 2008 season playing the Allen Eagles for the first time ever in regular season play. Longview will travel to Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas where Allen has not lost in three years.

The Allen Eagles come into the 2008 season ranked 4th in the state of Texas by 5ATexasFootball.com.

Longview ISD announced today that Barbers Hill out of Mont Belvieu, Texas would fill the last spot on Longview's 2008 schedule.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools with the date being scheduled for Friday, September 12th. Location of the game has not yet been determined....Read More.

Alignments for the 2008 and 2009 seasons for district play will be announced today at 9:00 AM Central Time.
